Four kinds of weather: sun, rain, heatwave and cool days

The weather shows in the forecast line on the morning screen and as an icon next to the hint while you trade; rainy days have rain falling on screen. The forecast is always right, so stock up for it.

• Sunny: steady customers, a normal day.
• Heatwave: almost twice the drink orders but 10% less patience — open the drink station and pour as soon as orders come in.
• Cool and cloudy: 15% more customers but fewer drinks — stock more to fry.
• Rain: 25% fewer customers, but they wait 25% longer and order more.

Five places to sell

The Place tab lets you move the cart every morning. Each place is unlocked once, then charges rent every day when you open (counted in the day’s costs). Walk-ins at each place favour a few dishes, listed under its name.

• Alley corner (day 1): Old Nam’s usual spot, rent-free.
• School gate (day 3, 150,000đ to unlock, 10,000đ rent a day): crowds of students, small orders, in a hurry; they like fish balls, sausages and cheese sticks.
• City park (day 5, 250,000đ, 15,000đ a day): relaxed customers who wait long and love drinks; they like shrimp balls, spring rolls and tofu.
• Night market (day 8, 400,000đ, 25,000đ a day): very busy, bigger orders, good tips; they like squid balls, crab sticks and cheese bread.
• Walking street (day 12, 600,000đ, 40,000đ a day): the busiest, most hurried crowd and the biggest tips; they like cheese hot dogs, cheese sticks and okra.

Pick a spot for the weather

Rainy days bring fewer but more patient customers, so a crowded spot like the night market or the walking street makes up the numbers. On a heatwave day the park is best, because its customers already love drinks. Cool days are busy, and the school gate turns over lots of small orders.

Before moving, compare the rent with a day’s profit in the summary: if the alley corner still earns more after rent, stay until you can fry for more customers.
