Why fried fish balls?
A fish ball cart with its glass case, bubbling oil and bottles of chili and hoisin sauce is a familiar sight outside schools and on pavements all over Vietnam. The game tries to capture what it feels like to run one: busy, hot and fun.
How is it made?
Cá Viên Chiên is an independent web game written in HTML, CSS and TypeScript that runs entirely in your browser. All art is drawn in code (SVG and CSS) and sounds are generated with Web Audio, so it loads fast even on a weak connection.
Inspiration
The game is inspired by street-food stall games such as “Cá Viên Chiên: Fish Ball Stall” on Google Play. It is a separate product with no copied art or code, and it is not affiliated with The3n Studio.
