Where settings are kept

💻 Per browser

Text size, handedness, sound, reduced effects and vibration are kept in this browser. Your phone and your computer can differ, for example large text on the phone and normal text on the computer.

☁️ With your stall

The stall name and owner name are part of your progress. Once you sign in they are saved to the cloud with your stall and appear on every device.

Questions

Do I need to reopen the game after changing something here?

If the game is open in another tab, reload that tab. The next time you open the game it uses the new settings.

Can I change settings in the middle of a day?

Yes. Tap the gear in the game: it pauses, and you change text size, handedness and sound right there. This page opens after you close for the day, because leaving the page mid-day loses the day in progress.

Does “Start over” delete my account?

No, you stay signed in. But the new stall is saved to the cloud at the next save (possibly as soon as the game opens again, before its first trading day) and replaces the old cloud stall, and your sales history starts again with the new stall. To keep the old stall, copy the save code before you start over. To erase everything in the cloud, go to Account → Delete account.
